Power has been restored to a street in Greater Sudbury's south end following an early morning motor vehicle collision with a hydro pole Sunday.
"Was JUST restored," said Greater Sudbury Utilities spokesperson Wendy Watson said in an email just before 10:30 a.m.
Sudbury Hydro thanked customers for their patience in a tweet following the outage.

It was a busy morning Sunday for power repair crews in Greater Sudbury after a crash took out a hydro pole in the city’s south end.
The motor vehicle collision happened near the intersection of Maki Avenue and Paris Street before 3:00 a.m.
“Approximately 140 customers on Maki Avenue are currently affected by a power outage,” said Greater Sudbury Utilities spokesperson Wendy Watson said in an email at 3:25 a.m.
“The power will remain off until the pole is replaced.”
Sudbury Hydro said, in a tweet, that replacing the pole will take six to eight hours.
The estimated time for restoration is 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
No word on if there were any injuries or any charges pending as a result of the crash.
