Two people have been charged with drug trafficking after police made a traffic stop last week in West Nipissing.

Ontario Provincial Police stopped the vehicle on Front Street, and a search revealed drugs believed to fentanyl and cocaine worth more than $100,000.

Two people from West Nipissing, ages 27 and 35, are charged with two counts each of drug trafficking.

Both accused were released and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on Dec. 5 in West Nipissing.
