Police search for federal offender known to frequent Sudbury
The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) squad is asking for the public's help in finding Tyler Closs, 26, a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant as a result of a breach of his statutory release.
Closs is an Indigenous male, 5-foot-8, weighing 330 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has a cross tattoo on his left cheek, a heart tattoo on his left hand and a star on his right hand.

Closs is serving a four-year, six-month and 10-day sentence for two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of assaulting a peace officer with a weapon, one count of obstructing a peace officer and assault using threats of violence or using force.
“The offender is known to frequent the cities of Sudbury, Toronto and Kingston,” a news release said Tuesday.
