SUDBURY -- Police in North Bay say they have a 39-year-old man in custody facing several charges after allegedly breaking into a home.

They say at around 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 25, the accused was observed looking into windows at a home on Olive Street, and left after being confronted by an occupant of the residence.

A few later, he was reportedly found inside a home just after 4 a.m. in the 100 block area of King Street West.

After being confronted by the homeowner, the accused was held until police arrived.

The man has been arrested and charged with the following:

  • One Count of Break and Enter
  • Two Counts of Trespassing at Night
  • One count of Voyeurism
  • Two Counts of Breach of Probation

They say he will remain in custody pending a bail hearing.
