Pedestrian sent to Sudbury hospital after hit-and-run on Lasalle Blvd.
Sudbury police are looking for a white car that hit a pedestrian near the Lasalle Boulevard Cemetery and fled the scene on Halloween night.
The collision happened just after 8:15 p.m. Oct. 31 on Lasalle Blvd. west of Drummond, Sudbury police spokesperson Kaitlyn Dunn told CTV News in an email.
"The driver involved in the collision fled the scene in the vehicle prior to police arrival. The vehicle involved has been described as a white car," Dunn said.
Paramedics took the 28-year-old victim, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, to hospital.
Police closed the road for several hours between Drummond Ave. and Somers St. on Tuesday night as investigators collected clues. It reopened around 11:15 p.m.
An investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to call police at 705-675-9171.
No word on if any charges are pending.
