SUDBURY -- Sault Ste. Marie police are asking for the public's help in an investigation into a crash that sent to a pedestrian to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers responded to a call on Carmen's Way at 7:22 a.m. Wednesday, police said in a news release.

A pickup truck travelling south hit a woman in the Albert Street West area.

The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
