Voyeurism charges laid against Ottawa man after months-long investigation

The Ottawa Police Service has laid voyeurism and harassment charges against a 30-year-old man after a six-month investigation.

Police say they launched an investigation after receiving multiple reports of a suspicious vehicle parking near a Stittsville home at night.

It was later found that several other homes had been targeted in Stittsville, Richmond, Kars and North Gower, police say.

The Ottawa man was charged with four counts of voyeurism, two counts of criminal harassment and two counts of mischief.

He appeared in court last week.

Police believe there may be additional victims and are seeking witnesses to report any similar incidents.
