The OPP are investigating the death of a man in Killarney overnight and a local woman from the village has been charged with murder.
"Members of the Sudbury detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police attended a residence in Killarney in relation to an injured party. That party was removed from the scene and taken to hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. As a result, a 64-yr old female from Killarney was taken into custody and is presently charged with second-degree murder.” said Constable Andre Taschereau of the OPP.
Killarney is a village of about 450 people on Georgian Bay, about a 90 minute drive southwest of Sudbury.
