OPP investigate drowning north of Huntsville, Ont.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Almaguin Highlands say officers were called to Doe Lake Road late Friday night after a 53-year-old man went missing after entering the water to swim.

The Almaguin Highlands OPP Marine Unit later recovered the man’s body and it was determined he had drowned.  The investigation continues under the direction of the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service (OCC-OFPS).

Doe Lake Road is located in Katrine, Ont. approx. 35 km north of Huntsville.
