OLG issues fourth quarter gaming revenue payments to Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury

Sault Ste. Marie has received $1,411,083 and Sudbury $1,826,565 from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, each city's share of gaming revenue from Jan. 1-March 31.
Since the gaming site opened in May 1999, Sault Ste. Marie has received $35,286,618. Sudbury’s gaming site opened in November 1999 and since then, the city has received $49,658,549.
These payments to the host communities are based on a formula applied across all gaming sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.
Payments to host communities are part of OLG’s commitment to Ontario – 100 per cent of OLG’s profits are reinvested in the province.
Since 1994, host communities have received more than $2.1 billion in non-tax gaming revenue.
