Northern Ont. woman wins big with gifted lottery scratch ticket
A 65-year-old northern Ontario woman says her winning lottery scratch ticket is the best present she has ever received.
Beverley Dakins of Elliot Lake said she was stunned when she saw she won big playing the Instant 20X Supreme lottery game.
Dakins won the scratch ticket game's third prize of $200,000.
"The ticket was a birthday present," she is quoted as telling Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation at the Toronto prize centre.
"This is the best gift I ever got. I instantly called my bestie and said 'You need to come see this!"

The woman, who works in payroll, plans to pay off her mortgage and share with her family.
Her winning ticket was purchased at West River Convenience on River Road in Wasaga Beach.
According to the OLG website, there are still hundreds of prizes left to be won with the 20X Supreme game ranging from $1,000 to $2,000,000, including four top prizes and two second prizes of $500,000.
