Northern Ont. police seek to confirm crash victim’s wellbeing

Ontario Provincial Police is attempting to identify a man involved in a collision on Highway 63 near Eldee, Ont., last week.

“On July 26, at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Highway 63, south of Eldee a male party is believed to have been struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle,” police said in an advisory posted to social media.

“OPP attempting to locate the male and confirm wellbeing.”

The cyclist is described as a Caucasian male between 25 and 30 years of age with a thin build and brown hair wearing a striped shirt and denim shorts.

Anyone with information related to the crash is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 using reference number E240979121.
