Northern Ont. driver missing after vehicle pulled into creek
Rescue crews are searching for a man reported missing on the weekend after the vehicle he was driving was pulled into a creek near the Quebec border in northern Ontario.

The missing person report was received shortly after 3:20 a.m. April 13, Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release.
The vehicle entered the flooded ditch around Promenade Road and Maybrook Road in Casey Township, less than 20 kilometres north of Temiskaming Shores, and the driver was pulled into Moose Creek, police said.

OPP has deployed drones, aircraft, divers and the canine unit to help with the search along with the Casey Fire Department, but has not found the missing man.
The OPP underwater search and recovery unit conducted side scan sonar in a small boat.
Heavy rain last week has caused a lot of flooding in the area, prompting some temporary road closures and some municipalities to declare a state of emergency.
The Ministry of Transportation said Maybrook Road at Cane Road 1, west of where the incident happened, has been closed since around 8:20 a.m. Saturday due to flooding.
Const. Siobhan Christo said the road where the incident happened is no longer flooded.
