Northern kids hockey teams dances for joy

Share

The Onaping Falls Huskies U13 hockey team played in Cochrane Minor Hockey Association’s 19th annual Dare House League Hockey Tournament last weekend.

The players were so excited to be playing in the tournament that they were dancing behind the bench, Leslie Rogerson told CTV News in a message on social media.

She said the team lost in the 4th overtime period of the tournament’s semi-final game on Sunday, but that did not dampen their enthusiasm.

"(Even) after the game the kids were still dancing," Rogerson added.
