Another person from northern Ontario has won a big prize playing the lottery.
The Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation says Letitia Dashney-Peace of North Bay has won $134,111.80 in the June 8, 2019 Lotto 6/49 draw.
Dashney-Peace thought that something was wrong with the OLG lottery app at first when she checked her ticket.
“My hands were shaking.” said Dashney-Peace.
She is a 59-year-old service clerk who is a married mother of five with nine grandchildren who says the win feels ‘out of this world.’
The winning ticket was purchased at Gormanville Grocery on Gormanville Road in North Bay.
