A 52-year-old North Bay man has been charged with sexual assault after a complaint was made last week.

North Bay police say the alleged incident happened at a private massage therapy business being operated out of a local home.

A woman says the accused touched her inappropriately during the massage. She reported the incident shortly after leaving the location.

Police say the man is not a registered massage therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

He has been released from custody and will appear in court on May 21.

Anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault is encouraged to report it to the police. There is no time limit on reporting sexual assault in Canada.
