NORTH BAY -- Staff at the North Bay Regional Health Centre are delivering messages of love on Mother's Day.

The health care team is relaying online messages for patients on Mother’s Day, while continuing to maintain visitor restrictions.

"Mother’s Day is a special day to show our appreciation for the women in our lives," the hospital said in a Facebook post.

"At the North Bay Regional Health Centre, we know how important it is, now more than ever, to stay connected with loved ones in hospital and show them how much they matter."

The hospital is allowing families of patients the opportunity to send their loved ones messages using the hospital's 'Patient Best Wish'.

The message you type will be delivered by staff on Mother’s Day.

Messages received after 12 p.m. on Sunday will be delivered the following day.

The hospital is allowing flower deliveries.

They will be screened before being accepted. The hospital is asking you to avoid flowers with strong scents.

You can send a Patient Best Wish from this page on the hospital's website.
