Public Health Sudbury and Districts reported a new positive case of COVID-19 on Aug. 22, marking the 94th infection within the Sudbury area since the pandemic began.
The man was tested on Aug. 17 and with no recent travel or contact with a known case, the source of exposure is unknown. He is now self-isolating.
“Through contact tracing, Public Health will notify all close contacts directly. If you are not contacted by Public Health, you are not considered a close contact,” the health unit said in a news release.
“Limiting our contacts and in-person interactions as much as possible is critical in reducing transmission of COVID-19.”
