A motorcycle driver received minor injuries Sunday in Timmins in a collision on Cedar Street North.

“The driver of the motorcycle involved in the collision was arrested on the scene by an OPP officer and subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries,” Sault police said in a news release Tuesday.

“The collision prompted a temporary closure of Cedar Street North, with the road being reopened around midnight.”

The Timmins Police Service traffic division will be investigating the incident.

“Additional information will be released as it becomes available,” police said.
