Three people are facing numerous drug and other charges following an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) traffic stop on Thursday.

At approximately 2 a.m., officers from the OPP’s West Parry Sound Detachment initiated a traffic stop on Highway 69 in Archipelago Township.

“As a result of further investigation, officers seized over $6,000 of suspected cocaine and fentanyl and over $10,000 in Canadian currency,” said police in a news release Friday.

The 26-year-old driver from Scarborough along with a 26-year-old passenger also from Scarborough and a 44-year-old passenger from Sudbury have all been charged with trafficking.
