A special weather statement issued by Environment Canada Friday February 15 th indicates there’s more snow in the forecast. It says additional snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 centimetres are expected, which would bring total snowfall to 20 cm 20 cm with this system.

Motorists are advised that winds gusting up to 60 km/h will reduce visibility in blowing snow.

Unlike the week’s earlier storm which was  a Colorado low, this  snow is associated with an Alberta Clipper tracking across Northeastern Ontario.

It’s the second snow day this week for students.as transportation was cancelled in Sudbury, Espanola, Massey and Manitoulin districts

While schools are open, parents who transport their children to school are reminded that they must pick their children up at the end of the school day.
