Winter weary travellers in northern Ontario looking to fly to sun destinations between December and April will soon have new choices for vacationing.

The Greater Sudbury Airport says due to increased demand, the vacation company Sunwing is adding a new weekly flight from Sudbury to Montego Bay, Jamaica this winter.

Airport CEO Todd Trip says flights will leave Thursdays, with one stop to handle customs in Hamilton, then on to Jamaica.

Sunwing will also continue its Wednesday flights to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic with a customs stop in Kitchener.
