Sudbury police said in a tweet Thursday:

“UPDATE – (Person) in video released earlier this week; NOT Branden Bodson-Gratton. Thank you to everyone for their assistance identifying the person in the video. Branden was captured on video on Dec 3 wearing blue bandana as seen in photo, black jacket, blue hoodie & dark jeans.”

Greater Sudbury Police Service received video surveillance footage of an unknown man walking in the area of Frood Road near the property of Stobie Mine. The footage was captured on surveillance equipment belonging to Vale.

Police are treating this as a possible sighting of missing person Branden Bodson-Gratton, who was last seen Monday, December 3rd.

GSPS are asking the public to review the video surveillance footage in hopes of confirming the identity of the man. Anyone who can positively identify this person or if the person seen in the video is you, they ask that you please contact police, as they are currently utilizing resources to follow up on this potential lead.

Officers, as well as, members of North Shore Search and Rescue are in the area of Frood Road and Burton Avenue conducting the ground search Tuesday.

Police continue to ask all community members to check their property including out buildings and sheds as Branden may have taken shelter.
