Mattagami River Boat Launch in Timmins has reopened after a it was closed by a motor vehicle crash on Friday.

"The Timmins Police Service is advising that the Mattagami River boat launch has now been opened for access by the public," police said in a news release Saturday evening.
"The single-motor vehicle collision is still under investigation."
Police have not released an specifics on the incident or reported any injuries.
"The Timmins Police Service is thankful for the cooperation and understanding of the community while the boat launch was closed," said police in the updated news release.
Timmins police said on Friday that they were on scene near Feldman Road to investigate the an incident.
“We advise the public to please avoid this area while the Timmins Police are present,” the initial news release said.
“The Mattagami River Boat Launch will be inaccessible until the investigation has been completed.”
