SUDBURY -- Another winter storm has cancelled school buses across northeastern Ontario for Thursday, Feb. 27:

Sudbury and area:

Sudbury Student Services Consortium has cancelled school buses Thursday, Feb. 27 for the Sudbury, Espanola, Massey and Manitoulin Districts due to poor road conditions and visibility.

This includes all areas such as St-Charles, Noëlville, Monetville, Markstay, Hagar, Warren, Wahnapitae, Coniston, Killarney, Whitefish, Whitefish River First Nations, Manitoulin Island, Onaping, Chelmsford, Capreol, Valley East, Garson, Chelmsford and Azilda.

Schools remain open and all staff is expected to report to work.

Parents who transport their children to school are reminded that they must pick their children up at the end of the school day.

North Bay and area

North Bay – Parry Sound Student Transportation Services has also cancelled school buses in all corridors due to snow accumulation and road conditions.  

Timmins and area

North East Tri-Board Student Transportation has cancelled all school buses in all areas. Schools are open for student learning, except for Joseph H. Kennedy P.S., Elk Lake P.S., Kerns P.S., and Temagami P.S. which are closed.

Sault Ste. Marie and Area

All school buses in the Algoma & Huron-Superior Transportation Services are running as scheduled.
