SUDBURY -- Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Manitoulin Detachment were called to Meredith Street in Manitowaning just before 11:00 p.m. on Friday where a vehicle struck a pedestrian and left the scene without stopping. 

The victim was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators are seeking assistance the public’s assistance in identifying the vehicle involved in the incident.  The vehicle is described as a Black SUV with passenger side mirror missing with possible damage to the vehicle.
