SUDBURY -- A couple from Greater Sudbury are feeling lucky after winning $100K with Lotto Max ENCORE.
Carmen Bentley of Sudbury and William Samarian of Coniston matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the February 11, 2020 LOTTO MAX draw to win the prize!
Carmen, a 45-year old occasional teacher and Bill, a 49-year old truck driver, were on-route to Niagara Falls from Sudbury when they learned of their win.
“Needless to say, we had a cheery drive down with a detour to the Prize Centre,” said Samarian.
The winners don’t have any plans for their prize, as of yet, but decided to continue on to Niagara Falls as planned.
“It’s surreal; it’s such a blessing for us,” the couple said.
The winning ticket was purchased at Kwik Way on Highway 69 in Val Caron.
