Update 2:

SUDBURY – It's the second fatal vehicle crash in the Timmins area this week.

The OPP say a 52-year-old man from Quebec has died after a logging truck collided with his pickup truck late yesterday afternoon, and he was pinned under the logs.

The Ministry of Labour says the logging truck was from Debastos and Sons, while the pickup truck belonged to Silvi-Culture Contractors.

"It appears that the tractor-trailer, which was hauling logs, as a result of the collision, the logs became dislodged… we're looking at what factors were involved preceding the crash and leading up to it," said Constable Kyle Ney, Ontario Provincial Police.

The OPP say the investigation continues and the Ministry of Labour has assigned an inspector to the case.
