A fundraiser that helps deserving kids in Sudbury get the opportunity to participate in recreational activities, who otherwise wouldn’t have the means, is returning.
The Human League Association held a team competition based on a popular TV show last November to much success, so the second edition of the Amazing Race Sudbury for PLAY will be held in May.
Race design masterminds are looking to appeal to the Star Wars crowd with the theme “May the 4th Be With You,” incorporating the race date
Teams of four will race around the city completing tasks and puzzles with several prizes to be won.
Money raised will go to the Positive Leisure Activities for Youth program, which helps kids get off the sidelines and into the action. Through the PLAY program, eligible kids can have participation fees of up to $200 paid for up to three times annually.
