The LCBO wants to sell liquor in convenience stores in some small and remote communities.

Recently, they release a list of areas where it would like to set up 'convenience outlets'.

The list includes 50 Northern Ontario towns, including Boninville, a rural hamlet between Chelmsford and Val Caron.

Despite their eligibility to apply to sell liquor at convenience stores, residents say Boninville does not have a convenience store.

The list also includes communities like Sultan, Byng Inlet and Hawk Junction.

When asked about their thoughts on liquor being sold on the shelves of more convenience stores, some Chelmsford residents thought it was a good idea, and others did not.
