One person taken into police custody in Stratford

One person was taken custody Wednesday after police executed a warrant in Stratford.

In an email to CTV News Kitchener, Stratford Police Service Const. Darren Fischer confirmed their officers worked with the Oxford County detachment of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) on executing the warrant on Downie Street.

One person was taken into custody without incident.

Police have not said what the warrant was issued for. CTV News Kitchener has reached out to the OPP.
