SUDBURY -- The Kirkland Lake detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says it has investigated 33 domestic related incidents in the month of November, 9 of which have led to someone being charged with a criminal offence.

In a Dec. 5 news release, the OPP says that it is not releasing the names of the victims in order to protect their identity but those charges include:

•             Assault
•             Assault with a Weapon
•             Sexual Assault
•             Uttering Threats
•             Forcible Confinement
•             Administer Noxious Thing with Intent to Annoy
•             Criminal Harassment
•             Mischief      
•             Fail to Comply with Probation Order
•             Fail to Comply with Release Order
