TIMMINS -- A 21-year-old man from Kirkland Lake has been charged after Ontario Provincial Police received a complaint Oct. 24 about an unwanted person at a residence.
Police arrived and found the suspect near the scene on Queen Street.
"Further investigation revealed that they had an imitation handgun concealed on them," police said in a news release Monday.
He is now charged with carrying a concealed weapon and being intoxicated in a public place.
The suspect was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on Dec. 3.
