OPP have charged a 27-year-old man with assaulting a police officer after a an altercation in Kapuskasing earlier this week.
They say it happened while police were transporting a prisoner.
Police say the man "became combative," and during an altercation tried to take an officer's stun gun, causing it go off.
The officer was treated at hospital and released, and the suspect now faces numerous charges.
