Hwy. 17 closed following fatal collision near Bruce Mines

One person has been killed in a four-vehicle collision on Highway 17 east of Bruce Mines.

The highway is closed as a result, Ontario Provincial Police said Tuesday morning.

Police responded around 6 a.m. to the crash.

"Highway 17 is currently closed between Duff Road and the town of Bruce Mines," police said in a news release.

"A detour has been established to redirect traffic."
