SUDBURY -- The road has now reopened, following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 144 near Cartier on Monday.

A single-vehicle crash on Highway 144 near Cartier has closed a shoulder and one-lane of the roadway.
The incident took place near mile marker 99 north of Elboga Lake. A van pulling a utility trailer was involved in the crash.
Southbound lane is currently closed. An Ornge helicopter landed on the roadway to airlift someone who was injured.
No word on the extent of injuries, but the victim is being brought to Health Sciences North in Sudbury.
