SUDBURY – At approximately 2 a.m. on September 25, West Nipissing Ontario Provincial Police responded to a home invasion on Nipissing Street in Sturgeon Falls.
Suspects forced their way into a motorhome, confronted the occupants and began to assault a person before fleeing the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Two of three suspects have been arrested and charged with:
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Aggravated Assault
- Break, Enter Dwelling House
- Disguise with Intent
- Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence
An arrest warrant has been issued for the third suspect.
Police say that this is an isolated incident and there is no concern for public safety at this time.
