Highway 11 fatal collision south of North Bay
A collision on Highway 11 in Powassan, south of North Bay, has resulted in one fatality and sent two others involved to hospital.
The two-vehicle-collision happened on June 27 just before 4 p.m.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police, the driver of one vehicle along with a passenger from the other vehicle were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The other driver involved, a 91-year-old from South River, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Northbound lanes were closed for more than three hours Tuesday evening.
