Highway 101 reopens in Timmins following crash

Highway 101 has reopened following a two-vehicle collision at Municipal Road on Tuesday morning, Ontario Provincial Police say.

Minor injuries have been sustained in the crash, OPP said. 

OPP officers from the South Porcupine detachment were at the scene.

Traffic had been diverted to Carrigan Road through Frederick House Lake Road in Barbers Bay.

The roadway opened early Tuesday evening.

The Ministry of Transportation said on its traveller information website, 511 Ontario, the road closure began around 9 a.m.
