Ground search Wednesday for missing Manitoulin woman
UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police are conducting a ground search Wednesday for a woman missing since last month.
Juanita Migwans – or 'Winnie,' as her family calls her – of M'Chigeeng First Nation has been missing for almost a month.

Migwans, 30, was last seen on Riverside Drive in the First Nation on Oct. 2 around 5 p.m.
Acting on new information, UCCM police and the OPP are searching the downtown area of M'Chigeeng today.
"The public can expect to see a larger than normal police presence and the public (is) asked to please avoid the areas where police are searching," UCCM police said in a news release.
"The police have been actively investigating all leads and information. If you have any information that you feel may be helpful, please contact police. Help us bring Juanita home."
