Greater Sudbury sees first snowfall of season Sunday
As the temperatures dip below freezing, Greater Sudbury is seeing its first snowfall of the season on Sunday.
Light flurries began falling Sunday morning and are expected to last throughout the day, bringing a total of just over two centimetres of snow by the end of the day.
The northern Ontario city could see a high of 2 C in the afternoon along with some rain, but with wind up to 15 km/h, the temperature could be as low as -7 C with the windchill overnight.
As of Sunday morning, the snow could be seen accumulating on cars and yards, but not sticking to the roads or roofs.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 6 C and a low of -1 C.
The weather will warm up over the next few days with a daytime high of 20 C Wednesday afternoon in Sudbury and some rain.
Temperatures are forecast to drop Halloween night Thursday to -2 C with another chance of rain or flurries.
The Ministry of Transportation reports bare roads around the Sudbury area on Sunday.
