SUDBURY – The Future Skills Centre is an organization out of the Ottawa area that helps Canadians find employment.

It stopped in Sudbury on November 14 as part of its regional tour across Canada.

The organization is making a stop in each province and territory to talk to community members about education and challenges Canadians are facing and ways to respond.

"We need to make sure we are working together across the country to identify, understand those needs and challenges, opportunities and what they look like, and how we can respond to them best. How can we figure out strategies that are impactful, evidence based, and how those needs and opportunities may vary across the country in different ways," said Maria Giammarco, Conference Board of Canada.

Sudbury was the fifth stop of the tour. The sixth will be in Moncton next week.
