On Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m., the Sudbury Horticultural Society will hold its first in-person meeting of 2022 at the Parkside Centre downtown. Vaccination and masks are required. The guest speaker will be Garth Wunsch who will share his tips on effective composting in your garden
SAULT STE. MARIE
Saturday from 7 – 8 p.m. at the Ermatinger Heritage Discovery Centre the main event for the "Stories Steeped in Stone Performance Series" is"A sense of place - a casual conversation about the Sault circa 1800's" with Cindy Ellen Crawford.
Echo Bay Elk's Fish Fry is being held at the 69 Church Street lodge Sunday from 4 – 6 p.m.
NORTH BAY
North Bay Symphony led by concertmaster Calvin Cheng with some classical favourites at the Capitol Centre on Saturday from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.
TIMMINS
On Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., St-Laurent Parish is holding a garage sale at Pioneer Hall in Ramore. It will also feature a penny sale, bake sale, lunch, bingo, draws and a door prize.
