A community funfair full of games and food is being held at Nipissing University this weekend.

This is the first time a funfair is coming to the university.

Nipissing University Student Union spokesperson Sarah McGowan says it’s all about bringing families to the campus.

“It’s for families and it’s open to everyone. We will be having a dunk tank where money will go to Cystic Fibrosis Canada,” says McGowan. “This is all about raising awareness of CF throughout the year and hopefully we can raise a lot of money.”

McGowan adds members of the North Bay Police and North Bay Fire Department will be in attendance to meet with families.

The event runs from 11am-5pm on Saturday at the university’s campus.
