SUDBURY -- Update:

Ontario Provincial Police say there has been four wildlife-related crashes in the last 24 hours on northeastern Ontario highways.

Police say a car ended up rolling over into a ditch after swerving to avoid a deer, Monday morning at 8:15 a.m. No injuries were reported.

Then, Monday night at 6:30 p.m., another car hit a moose on the Highway 144 bypass between Chelmsford and Lively. The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle and was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Another moose was hit by a car on Highway 69 at 8:45 p.m. The moose landed on top of the vehicle, but the driver was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Finally, at 5:19 a.m. Tuesday morning, a car hit a wolf on Highway 144 in Chelmsford near the golf course. The vehicle sustained minor damage and no injuries were reported.

Police say to be on the lookout for wildlife as you venture out on the roads.

Two moose are dead following a pair of single-vehicle collisions that happened Monday night on two different northern Ontario highways.

Ontario Provincial Police responded to the first incident shortly before 7 p.m. on Highway 144, just north of Main Street in Lively. The driver suffered non-life threating injuries.

The second collision happened on Highway 69, south of Highway 64 shortly before 9 p.m. The driver in the second crash also suffered non-life threating injuries.
