Four adults perished in fatal New Liskeard fire, police say
As the investigation continues into the fatal northern Ontario house fire that killed four people on the evening of Sept. 19, police have released some details about the victims.
Three people from the New Liskeard area of Temiskaming Shores -- ages 28, 31 and 30 – were found deceased inside the residence, Ontario Provincial Police spokesperson Siobhan Christo told CTV News in an email Tuesday.

The fourth victim was a 37-year-old from the nearby community of North Cobalt.
Emergency crews were called to the Paget Street South home in the downtown New Liskeard area around 5:30 p.m.
A neighbour – who asked not to be named -- told CTV News at the scene the day after the fire that six people were inside the home when the blaze started and that two people were able to get out safely.
"Quite a few people live there," another neighbour said.
"I just feel really bad for the family."

Fire officials said it took about an hour and 15 minutes to extinguish the flames.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
