A sudden death that took place in Elliot Lake on Sept. 9 is not suspicious, East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police said Wednesday.

“At this point in the investigation, foul play is not suspected.”

Emergency services responded Sept. 9 to an unresponsive person call at a residence on Frobel Drive in Elliot Lake.

A 66-year-old person was found dead and the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service helped with the investigation.
