SUDBURY -- Former Sudbury track coach David Case has been found guilty in the second case of sexual assault.
This case involved the physical and sexual assault of one of his former female athletes in the 1980's when she was under the age of 18.
The trial took place in January and the verdict was delivered March 13.
During the trial, the victim said in her testimony that she didn’t report the incidents for 30 years because "I didn’t think anyone would believe me, because it’s unreal."
This is in addition to Cases’ conviction last week, of sexually assaulting a different young woman in 2011 with his former sprinter Celine Loyer at their home.
Court heard that Case forced sex on a teenager at a local hotel and physically assaulted her twice after marrying her as soon as she turned 18.
A sentencing date is scheduled for March 17.
No sentencing date has been scheduled yet for the other trial involving Case and Loyer.
