Vale Ltd. says there was a fire underground at Copper Cliff South Mine late Monday morning.
“All employees were promptly and safely accounted for with no injuries reported,” Vale said in an email Tuesday.
“We resumed normal operations yesterday afternoon once the incident was given the all clear.”
