Sturgeon Falls Legion gets needed funds.
In Sturgeon Falls, Nickel Belt MP, Marc Serre, announced almost twenty-thousand dollars this week for an initiative to help community seniors stay active and involved.
The funding will assist *Branch 225* of the Royal Canadian Legion with its project called "seniors cooking for seniors".
It will help the branch acquire a new stove and some needed furniture.
